Spirit Sanctuary - or is it? :o

turning her face out of the pillow as he stroked her hair, she looked at him tears running down her face.

auu~

She said quietly in response to michaels comment.
With a sad look on her face she touches her neck.
Throwing her face back into the pillow she puts her hand down.

<The Nurse>
Talana fell down to her knees as the vampire went away down the hall. Whole body shaking in fear. Slowing down her breathing and calming down, going over what the vampire told her, Talana picked up the bag and opened it.

Her jaw dropped in amazement at the fortune she was given. It only brought back the sentence;

..I promise not to harm you if you do it.

Running over and over in her head making her scared again. She quickly stood up and ran away to one of her drawers and pulled out a bag she had prepared a long time ago.

Running out of her office, leaving Aiya laying down on the bed, sleeping.

After a short while she entered the spirit dorms, chills going down her spine due to the aura that was left behind.

Following the instructions she was opening the door to Yuviel's room when she heard growling coming from the inside. Her spine almost froze when she saw the beast crossing her path, without even thinking she pulled a silver stake from the bag and sent it flying into the beast's skull.

Talana quickly closed the door before any other students might cross the hallway. With the dimmed light disappearing she found herself in complete darkness. Chanting another spell she created a ball of light that followed her, illuminating her path.

Kneeling down,next the bed, she uncovered the sleeping boy. Turning him on his back she felt his forehead, he was burning up. Looking closer at him she realized it was the same boy from the morning.

A tear went down her cheek, saddened by the misfortune that has befallen him. Talana cut off the bandages from his torso and ran her hand over his chest.

He didn't seem to be waking up, only moaning in pain in his sleep. It was for the best.

Talana pulled out another silver stake from her bag, together with a bag filled with a glowing green liquid. Holding the stake above his chest she said a few words in elven and struck him right into the heart.

A inhumanly loud scream could be heard on the school grounds when the stake ran through his body like a hot knife through butter. He couldn't breathe as his eyes opened, blood gushing out of his chest and back. Alex felt like someone set him on fire. Four seconds later he passed out.

Talana removed the stake from his chest and left the open wound to bleed. Opening the green bag she poured it in the wound, the liquid entering his veins and arteries started hissing as the vampire blood in him started to evaporate.

Opening two blue bags and doing the same thing she did before today, turning the blue liquid into blood she started rebuilding the tissue that she destroyed.

Few moments after the hole in his chest closed the boy started breathing again but was unconscious. Talana leaned her back on the wall and curled up, listening to the boy's heavy breathing and his blood dripping down from the bed onto the floor.

Seeing her cry and touch her neck Michael was automaticly taken back to what that elf had done but snapping back to the current situation Michael held Lily being mostly obscured by the pillow he said in a comforting voice.

I thought you werent going to cry anymore dont let one elf make you go back on your word like this.

He had noticed a strange aura close by and was very sure of what it was but not entirely sure where it came from but he feared the worst. It was just then he heard a scream from a few rooms away and at this he held Lily closer into himself hoping she would feel safer.

Idiot! im not crying theres something...kyah!

Lily started to answer michael when they heard the scream. Jumping she moved her face from the pillow to michaels neck hiding it in there breathing heavily as her heart was beating fast.

Auuu!~

She said grabbing michaels top with both hands and holding tight.

Yuviel watched as the nurse darted across the grounds, her body lighting up compared to the rest of the area – within seconds of her entering, she heard and felt the death of her new pet – followed shortly after a scream that echoed in Yuviels head… Yuviel flew down – forgetting this was her first flight and glided down to the door, retracting her wings but not the tail.

Reaching the door, Yuviel announced her coming in as she entered closing the door … the smell of blood, Elf and corpse of pet all in one room – Yuviel snapped herself out of the small bloodlust feeling starting to come over her… sitting in the corner upside down – she watched the nurse carefully, tail dangling down.

As Lily held onto him tighter her head now at his neck he could feel her breath on his skin and her heart as it beat faster from the scare.

Dont worry im here nothing can get you while im here... everything is fine.

He heard another smaller scream just after it and Lily reacted to it but he just continued to try and calm her.

Watching the Nurse leave in a rush … Yuviel landed on the floor and picked the poor beast up, it still had a stake in it’s head – grabbing the stake, it felt slightly hot … continuing to yank it out, Yuviel opened the door – tip toed to the Demons room and planted the beast outside his door, stake and all.

Re-entering her bedroom, Yuviel locked it behind her and took everything off again… getting into bed, examing the scene … she made sure her clothing was not in the blood on the floor – as Yuviel got into the bed, her wings encasing Alexander and her tail wrapping around his legs – blood started to seep towards Yuviel as it got absorbed – the dried blood on the floor also started to raise towards her in a slow manner, as if her very bloodlust called it to her.

Lily jumped again holding her breath as she heard someone outside the door. once it closed again she let out a long breath on michaels neck.

What was that?

She whispered while her heart raced in her chest.
Pulling herself closer against michael.

He felt the aura outside the door as Lily once again reacted in fear and he knew whatever it was doing couldnt be good readying himself for some kind of attack he was slightly surprised as it left and moved back to a room a few doors away from his. He comforted Lily and said.

Whatever it is its not gonna hurt you.

Michael begins to hum a demon nursey rhyme that Lily will remember as he slowly starts to fall asleep whilst still holding her.

Time skip to 02:00

- the fog starts to thicken as Yuviel slumbers, as does the darkness for any lights in the building.
- The corpse begins to smell, very bad.
- Clouds begin to form in the sky, it gets chilly.

Time has passed 7 hours.

Lily fell asleep soundly after being hummed to.
As she slept her grip on michael loosend. Her face is still at michaels neck, her mouth open breathing normally.
Though her body will feel warm from still having all her leather clothing on.

As he awakens from his sleep he slowly removes Lilys hands from him being careful not to wake her he gets up and remembers the aura outside his door and moving to the door he could smell something rotting opening the door he found a large corpse of something that had been killed hours ago at most not wanting Lily to see this he summoned his sword to his hand unsheathing it the blade started to glow blue as souls poured form from it surrounding the body they slowly started to break it down turning it into a small amount of raw power as they did so. Once the corpse was fully consumed he dismissed his sword and moved back into the room sitting down on the edge of the bed watching Lily sleep.

Waking up, the first thing Alex felt was the pain in his chest with every heart beat. His fever has gone down but he felt awfully weak.

Second thing he noticed was Yuviel sleeping on him, her beautiful wings covering the both of them. The lack of pain other than his chest confused him, raising his head up and looking at his chest he saw a circular wound, about 3 by 3 inches big, cutting off two lines of the rune going over his chest.

A sudden flashback of a silver stake in the same place and a hazy image of a woman next to the bed made his body and mind freeze. Realizing that was reality, his mind started racing. Did she??

The cut on his chest, cut off bandages, the lack of vampire pain made it all make sense in his head.

Alex pushed Yuviel to the side abruptly, literally crawling away he fell down from the bed to the floor and kept pushing himself away from her, holding the chest with his left hand, pain becoming stronger and stronger as his heartbeat was increasing.

Reaching the wall behind him with his back he tried to go away even further but with no success, the look on his face a mixture of shock and disbelief.

Lilys arms rest where they were placed by michael but after a while they stretch out on the bed searching for what had disappeard.

she makes that noise in her sleep.
Unable to find the thing she wants to grab onto she curls up, her face slightly flushed from being warm.

Being awoken in the strangest manner, her wing tugged on as well as her tail – Yuviel looked around and saw Alexander making an escape … shocked, and not believing what he had just go through – he was in pain.

Alex-an-der…

Yuviel held out a hand but didn’t move – the room was in pitch darkness and all Yuviel could see was Alexanders bright body in pain right infront of her.

Yuviel crawled towards the edge of the bed and rested her chin on the end, looking at Alexander – she wasn’t quite sure what to do with him now.

Hearing Yuviel call his name it sounded so bad in his head. His heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest, this time not only due to physical injuries.

Alex couldn't get himself to talk, looking for a way out but not seeing one he only managed to cry out;

..why??

Aiya woke up with a start, sitting up fast enough to give herself a head rush. she held her head and then realized there was no pain from where the scar was. reaching around she felt where the scar was as much as she could noticing that it was gone. she stood up picking up the spare uniform that was at the foot of her bed wondering when it was put there and what time it was. she got dressed and made her way out of the main building in general noticing that it was dark outside, she sighed looking at the dark clouds and how cold it was getting. she continued walking until she got the courtyard where she decided to sit by a tree thinking to herself.

a storm? it was so nice earlier... am i truely safe here though... i should head to my room...

Hearing Alexander call out in pain, asking why … the limited question was obviously targeted about her having him staked and cured of her curse. Alexander was in the corner of the room, where the closet had been pushed over the window …

Calm down … Alexander.

Yuviel moved slowly across the bed, floating slightly and eventually reached Alexander and held him down slightly, enough force that Alexander would need to use his runes to push her off.

I don’t want you to die… or be like me.

Yuviel started to lick up Alexanders neck – as he struggled it only seemed to make Yuviel more determined – Yuviel assumed a mounting position and held alexanders arms in place – Biting her own lip blood filled her mouth.

Kissing Alexander forcefully, she didn’t give him much choice in the matter but to swallow several times during the minute long kiss.
Letting go of Alexanders mouth and arms Yuviel remained sat on Alexander – not moving nor letting Alexander escape.

You must rest Alexander … I will be here to make sure you stay safe.

Yuviel pushes herself and interlocks her legs around Alexander and rests her head on his chest – not letting him go, hoping he’d give up and rest as instructed.

As Lily moved he noticed she was grasping for something and upon not finding it she curled up. Michael moved closer to Lily once again lying down facing her and gently held her into his chest as one of her hands slowly grabbed hold of his shirt he just smilied keeping her close to him and trying not to wake her. He thought to himself as he held Lily.

I wonder what happened to the hunter im sure he was with Yuviel when I last saw him and if she became.... whatever that was.... then i fear for him....

Laying down on the cold floor, Alex felt her blood going through him yet again, his heart stopped hurting, everything looked normal apart from the patch of fresh skin on his chest.

Her hair spread over his chest and neck. Alex remained laying down for a couple of minutes, staring at the ceiling in silence only interrupted by the sound of their breathing.

Arms that were resting on the sides of him now rose up and squeezed Yuviel onto him. In the next second Alex turned around with incredible ease, switching positions he was now on top of Yuviel, supporting himself with his hands on both sides of her body, she wouldn't be able to go left or right.

Leaning down he returned the kiss to her, taking his time before he pulled his lips away from hers, looking into her eyes he said softly;

...all you had to do is tell me..

As his sentence turned into a breath he closed in again and started kissing her passionately. His right hand started gently moving down the right side of her body, stopping on her hip.

Resting didn’t seem to last long enough, as Yuviel found herself being spun around and Alexander returning the kiss – basically calling her stupid, though indirect. Kissing Yuviel again with his hands moving up her leg and onto her hip – not quite knowing where this should go – Yuviel decided not tonight.

Pushing her finger on Alexanders mouth and shaking her head – Yuviel started to get up and picked Alexander up with ease, planting him on the bed.

Rest Alexander… we can’t. Tonight.

Yuviel’s hair had seemed to had grown a lot more than practical, seemingly at her knees now … she headed for the door and looked back.

I mean it … sleep.

Yuviel opened and closed the door quietly and headed for the living area, hanging upside down from the ceiling, Yuviel took a bat-like sleeping posture with wings encasing her front and tail wrapped around her left leg.

Being placed on the bed and left alone in the dark room, Alex let out a loud sigh.

Laying down on his back he threw a hand over his head, covering his vision but he couldn't get himself to sleep. Way too many things have happened today.

His mind was all over the place but it always ended up in the same track, he just couldn't get her out of his mind or figure out how she feels about it.

Turning around nervously from time to time, it looked like it would be a sleepless night for Alexander.

Time skips to 07:00 Dawn breaks and light seeps through the curtains. Clouds parted but otherwise a clear day - a medium wind crosses the air.

- Staff start to enter the grounds.
- Human live in students have started to move around.
- Lillians family are at the North gate, with several bodyguards... the head is talking with them.
- Yuviel is still sleeping, like a bat.
- a Goblin is snoozing on the couch in goblin form.

Hearing the birds outside making noise happily made Alex snap out of his thoughts. Pulling a hand through his hair he stood up and started looking around the room for his sneakers. Finding them he slipped them on without tying them up.

Letting out a sigh he stepped towards the door and opened them, looking to the right he saw Yuviel hanging above the living room and a goblin below her on a couch. It did surprise him to say the least but he just turned away and left her to sleep, it was a long night for her too after all.

Entering the bathroom Alex started to unbuckle his belt and slipped out of the trousers and sneakers at the same time. Walking out of the changing room he passed by a mirror that caught his attention.

Leaning on the sink and watching himself in the mirror Alex smiled sadly when he saw trails of blood in the corners of his lips. But what distracted him even more was the fact he just couldn't get used to his new appearance, the lack of the rune going down the left side of his face felt weird, it was something he couldn't hide beneath clothes and it always remembered him of bad things.

He knew it was useful and that many times he wouldn't have survived without it but somehow...he felt glad it was gone. Lowering his view he looked at the hole cutting off the lines crossing the left side of his chest. That was quite troublesome to see, when he tried to activate them, the whole left side of his torso remained unresponsive.

Letting out a sigh he took a last look in the mirror and pushed away, slowly going to the shower cubical.

The hot water running down him never felt so good in his life before. Washing away all the dirt that accumulated over the night and made him feel refreshed.

Alex didn't feel physically tired but almost the whole night spent thinking over troublesome stuff showed signs on him, he didn't look like the confident and outgoing boy he was the morning before.

Turning off the water he shook his head, splattering most of the water in it all around him. Leaving the cubical Alex grabbed a large towel and proceeded to wipe himself off in the changing room.
